The World's Worst Tattoos

Tattoos are more popular now than ever before in history. It seems that everywhere you go today you will see someone with a tattoo or two, or three.

The variety of tattoos designs and styles of tattoos that are out there are quite numerous, and yet one can never cease to be amazed at some of the things that people get tattooed on their bodies.

Just because a tattoo is weird looking to you, does not automatically make it a bad tattoo or a dumb tattoo, or one of the worst tattoos. What makes the worst tattoo is how badly it was rendered, how bad the design is, how poor the location was for the design, and so on.

With so many people going out to get tattooed around the world it is no surprise that a fair amount of them end up getting the world's worst tattoos, and therefore on this website.

Never underestimate the power of stupidity, the need for money, and drunkenness.

Good tattoos are not cheap, and cheap tattoos are never good.

Britney Spears Hebrew Lettering TattooBritney Jean Spears (born December 2, 1981) is a Grammy-winning American pop singer, best known for her studio albums, music videos, and pop songs such as “…Baby One More Time” and “Toxic.”

Britney Spears, aka Toxic, had Hebrew lettering tattooed into the back of her neck in 2004,  in an act of devotion to  God based on her newly found devotion and identification to the Kabalah center, the radical American-Judean cult that she was introduced to by Madonna. It is unknown as to who the tattoo artist was or where it was done or the exact date.

Many people believed the tattoo to be unintelligible gibberish as it spells no such word in Hebrew, but the the fact is that the tattoo was of three Hebrew letters, which according to Kabalah, is one of the 72 names of God, or names of the attributes of the Creator and this one is for healing.

The letters are Mem, Hey, and Shin.

Britney Spears Kabala tattoo

Because the word of  Mem, Hey Shin, means healing others and of oneself, this tattoo signifies a proactive, healthy state of mind and balance in ones life and radiating this to others.

In the Torah, or Hebrew Bible, in Leviticus 19:28 it explicitly forbids members of the nation of Israel to be tattooed however Britney Spears did not convert to become a member of the nation of Israel and therefore the prohibition does not apply to her.

In March of 2008, Britney was spotted without the Hebrew tattoo on her neck. The rumor is that she had it removed in a downtown LA clinic and paid approximately $2000.00  for the procedure. Why did Britney remove the tattoo? Some claim it is because she was having so much turmoil in her life that having the tattoo made her feel like a hypocrite. Others claim that because she does not believe in Kabalah as she once did she felt that it no longer represented who she is as a person and thus had it removed. Others claim that Britney was under pressure from her family to remove the “not very Christian” tattoo from her neck and to stick with butterflies and dice and Jesus. If she removed it because of the Christian pressure then this would make it this story even more ironic considering that Jesus was born to Jewish parents that spoke Hebrew, in a Jewish city and in a Judean state that spoke Hebrew (under Roman occupation), and raised as a Judean, that spoke Hebrew was educated in a Judean religious institutions to be a Judean rabbi that spoke and prayed as a Judean in Hebrew. Britney’s Hebrew lettering tattoo was far more Christian than any of the pagan symbols  that she already has.

It is fair to call this story of Britney’s Spears, the Britney Jean Spears Disappearing Hebrew Lettering Kabbalistic Tattoo!

Now why is tattoo on this website, besides the fact that it is a great celebrity tattoo mistake/error/regret story?  The reason is because getting the name of God, if there is a God, is a terrible idea! If there is no God, then there is no big deal whatsoever, obviously. However, if there is a God,  then members of the tribes of Israel are forbidden to get tattoo and gentiles are not, according to God’s book of rules, but everyone is warned to not use God’s name in vain!

Getting God’s name tattooed on your body, no matter where it is or what your reasons are or intentions may be, is vain  by nature, first of all, and second of all, getting God’s name is not a favorable thing in God’s eyes according to all religious texts, which all regard tattoos as  he practice of heathens and idol worshippers. Now will a lighting bolt strike or cancer afflict people who get God’s name tattooed? God forbid! Based on God’s track record of intervening in humanity’s bad moments and punishing the wicked, you are perfectly safe. But who wants to be made an example of if there is a God and s/he’s pissed?

hahahah
